Ireland’s leading B2B sustainable energy event is happening soon and you won’t want to miss it.

We are very excited to welcome you to another year of the most visited B2B event in town, the SEAI Energy Show 2024. It will take place on Wed 20th and Thursday 21st at the RDS, Dublin.

Over 4,000 people attend this show every year over the two days. And for good reason! I have outlined below five good reasons why you should attend this year and what you can expect to gain. Did I mention it is free to register?

Here are five things you should do to make the most of this year’s event.

1. Experience the latest trends and technologies

Watch industry experts demonstrate best practice in building retrofit. Our live demos use actual built models and include the installation of various types of wall and roof insulation, solar technologies and ventilation. We’ll have a special feature on heat pumps this year too.

There will be presentations and demos running at set times throughout both days of the show. Find the full schedule here.

We have almost 100 exhibitors representing their businesses and bringing you up to speed with the latest trends in their sectors. The full list of exhibitors is available here.

2. Learn and upskill

We have a full suite of free learning opportunities for different sectors over the two days. Interested in ventilation? We have a seminar on that.

Interested in becoming a One Stop Shop? We have a session on that too. These events are always informative and hugely popular. They are also free to attend but must be pre-booked.

Learning opportunities his year include:

  • Industry Seminars delivered by leading energy experts (CPD Accredited by RIAI and Engineer's Ireland). Pre booking is required.
  • Energy theatre talks covering a wide range of topics from the energy sector. No booking required for these.
  • Live Q&A sessions

3. Test drive an EV

Get behind the wheel of the latest electric cars on the Irish market. These test drives are ideal if you are considering changing your business vehicle or fleet to electric. It's also a good opportunity to check out the leading electric cars on the market.

How to book a test drive? If you’re registered for the event, you’ll be notified when the test drive slots are open to book.

4. Network

The Energy Show provides an ideal environment to meet new contacts across your industry and further afield.  Attendees come from sectors such as Energy Management, Building/Consulting Engineering, Public Services, Facilities Management and many more.

This year we’re hosting a ‘Careers in energy retrofit’ session and SEAI is hosting speed networking with about 20 host companies. They will be providing six networking appointments with prospective professionals each day. This is an exciting opportunity for those considering switching careers to the ever-expanding retrofit industry.

And of course, you can catch up with old friends and colleagues over a cup of tea or coffee.

65% of previous Energy Show attendees identified new suppliers.

5. Find out who the Winners are!

EV Dealership of the Year Awards 2024

Funded by ZEVI, these SEAI-administered awards recognise dealerships working to build consumer understanding and experience of EVs and ultimately their roll-out on Irish roads.

The county winners were announced in January and are on the shortlist for the regional awards which will be announced at this year’s Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI) Annual Dinner taking place on February 22, 2024. One of the four regional winners will then be announced the overall national winner at the SEAI Energy Show.

Product of the Show Awards

These awards recognise the most innovative products and services presented by our exhibitors.

Samples of all shortlisted finalists’ entries will be featured on the dedicated Product of the Show Awards Pavilion, which is prominently located at the SEAI Energy Show.

The winners will also deliver several 5-minute elevator pitches over the two days.
